Do you find your gaining weight on it?   I have been on it since end of September
and really didn't notice for a little while.  But man the past few months I feel like
I have really put on weight.  Of course it could also be because I have been feeling
good and not eating the best things too. And lack of exercise I'm sure has nothing
to do with it.  lol    But just thought I would ask.
Living with Crohn's Disease since Jan./2000
I'm a true Crohnie with IBS and Arthrities too. I have Crohn's very mild compared to a lot of Crohn's people.

Meds I have tried:  Too many to list- LOL
Meds currently on:  Tramadol for the pain
Cimzia Injections. Just started on 9/30/2009

Cimzia hasn't affected my appetite. Prednisone did though.

I was on it for a year in a clinical trial and I've been on it for a year again and I haven't noticed any weight gain or increased appetite.

Crohn's Disease, Acid Reflux/Gastritis, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Endometriosis, Arthritis, Depression/Anxiety.  Too many meds to list them all.  =)

I have gained weight, but it came on about 9 months into the Cimzia, so I believe it had nothing to do with the Cimzia. I started Remeron (which is known for weight gain) around the time I put on weight. I've got some of it off, and what's left is ok. I just watch what I eat. I was really thin, so a little weight was good for me.

I do have a friend who's gained weight on Humira. Not sure if it's the med, or just feeling better so it's easier for Crohies to eat when they are feeling better.
