I have question?

I was wondering what your iron levels have to be get iron infusion? Cuz alway been anemia and the iron pills don't do well with my stomach.... All I do sleep all the time and have no energy and extreme fatigue and joint pains

I think you'd have to be pretty low. Best to ask your DR. A friend of mine just had a series of infusions after trying to build her iron stores up via oral meds. She tried for quite a while.

She ended up having infusions over a 3 month time span, I think. They made her super sick. So if you think the pills are bad, the infusions may well be worse.

My iron levels were 11 when they finally gave me an iron infusion. Took about 3 weeks to feel the results, but when they kicked in it was great. My iron stores were really low too, and haven't dipped again since the infusion. Ask you doc about it. Good luck!
