Well, I didn't start a Monday thread because my day was wrecked by 9am and tlc wasn't about to make it better rolleyes redface mad , but I hope that one of you who are still having a Monday will consider starting a Monday thread.

Ivy's tlc, because she isn't feeling too happy today.

* play a board game
* exercise
* spend some time outside once it warms up
* look at recipes and at least *think* of cooking something for myself or the freezer
* ten minutes in the slightly-less-revolting kitchen
* spend some time in my bedroom, which needs some tlc too.
* give my body some tlc (face mask, maybe).

That's it for me. And right now, I'm going into the lounge room, where at least there's a heater and a chance of getting warm.

Have a good day / night / evening / afternoon (depending on your time zone!) everyone.

A very fed-up Ivy.

Hope you have a better tuesday than monday!
It is already tuesday here and unfortunately I have to work this afternoon until 10 tonight but this morning I decided I was going to have a morning of relaxation, had a nice soak in the bath and am now knitting a baby jacket for my daughters friend that is pregnant.
I have had quite a few hectic weeks lately,what with hospital visits for family and myself last week, and also my mum and dad have been visiting from South Africa, so I thought it about time I had abit of me time for a change!
Hope you all have a good day!

Aw Ivy, sorry your Monday was shot. I have to say I keep forgetting you are in a different hemisphere with the cold reference -- it's in the 80's here.

1. Put on my swim suit, grab the latest book I'm reading and hop on a raft in the pool.
2. Then go out to the garden pick some peas and check to see if the first zucchini is ready yet. And enjoy them both!

On the agenda for the next week and a half:

Drive 13 hours with Mom and Aunt to visit family, go to a great uncle's 90th birthday, and go to a family reunion. I also plan on spending a ton of time by the pool relaxing, reading, "window shopping" in all the cute shops, and visiting Amish country.

It should be a relaxing trip, but the drive is stressing me already. I have a lot of driving anxiety, so I'll be taking clonipin to relax in the car!

Please everyone say a prayer that my belly is nice to me the next 9 days. I'm going to eat carefully, and hopefully it will recognize that and be nice back to me!

I hope you all have a nice next 9 days, and Ivy, I hope things calm down for you! :)

Oh, and Ivy, I'll send some Atlanta heat your way...it's already hitting triple digits here during the day and I wouldn't mind it being 20 degrees cooler!!

Got it, thanks. The sun actually came out yesterday :-0 and I was able to spend a few hours outside, and felt better for it. It has been a gloomy few weeks here.

Lamb, you might have forgotten that I'm in the Southern Hemisphere; I forgot for a moment that you still talk in farenheit. When you said you were in the 80s, I had visions of you in pastels, with a bad perm, listening to Funky Town.

I spent much of Tuesday morning sorting out the ENORMOUS mess that occurred on Monday (when the medical system decides to stuff up, they do it spectacularly) and still have a bit more work to do today, but after that, I hope it will be sorted.

I did everything else on the list, except for the kitchen :-0.

Monkiray, I don't blame you for being anxious about the car trip. That's a long journey, and a busy one too. No advice or answers for you, but tons of empathy.

Ashworth, where do you live? I'm thinking Britain, maybe?

Catch you in the Wednesday thread.

Ivy.
