I have a fever, for no specific reason, dehydrated and dropping weight too quick. I've been given anti-biotics
and steroids. If I don't feel better soon I have to go into hospital. I guess that's why I wasn't liking the heat:(

Well, well, well. Generating your own heat huh. The utilities will not like that.
I hope the meds do the trick and you are feeling better soon!
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa, cholestyramine, iron and vitamin supplements.

Its always hard to see the writing on the wall isn't it. We keep going along and not really realize that just maybe something is a brewing. Maybe because the scenery is so pretty on the river denial. wink It always surprises me when I finally figure out that something has been going on for far longer than it should have simply because I just wasn't paying enough attention to myself.

I sure do hope that the medicines get you feeling better soon.

Thanks Gail & Suzanne, I guess I did push the problem to the back of my mind. It's only when it
gets to the "I can't take much more of this" stage, that we give in....

For me, I usually end up waiting too long, or at least longer than I should have, simply because I so many times I'll have the symptoms for a day or two, call the doctor for an appointment, go in to see him the very next day - and I'm symptom free. I HATE that! I once told him the next time I got sick I wasn't even going to call I was just going to drive in and park in his parking lot and I would autmatically start feeling better or be over whatever it was.
