Well after a long 8 months with my rubber band stitch I have finally had a breakthrough!
I went to hospital on Friday and luckily didn't have to be out to sleep to have the procedure done. They injected my spine instead of giving me a GA so that was a bonus.
My new stitch is much less hassle and I would recommend it to anyone. From what I can see there is much less discharge, it doesn't hurt when I move and ..... I NO LONGER HAVE TO WEAR A DRESSING EVERYDAY!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! No more costly prescription charges!!!
Feeling much better about going to Egypt in Sept now as I feel more confident with this new stitch.
Anyone wanting any advice on this or the spinal procedure then just ask :)
