So I've had a slight flare recently, it started with severe diarrhea last week, which as we all know isn't abnormal and usually rather manageable.

Over the weekend it subsided (thank god my arse couldn't take anymore) but then I started feeling awful in a different way, tired, headache, dizzy..nauseous, by yesterday I had spent 2 almost full days in bed, I was getting a little worried. Last night it hit me that I haven't really had anything to drink!...I never even thought about that, but I had just finishing purging everything that I ate/drank for 4 days..DUH. nono

I spent the next 3-4 hours drinking 10oz every 30 mins and this morning I feel like a new woman, I even slept all night! Just wanted to mention it as a reminder to people in case they forget how important it is to drink lots of H2o.

Happy 'n Hydrated today!

It's nice to be feeilng good again. It's amazing that D has such an effect on the body. Like you said the body is just purging everything and very little absorbtion is taking place.  It's hard to remember though to keep hydrated when you are distracted by the lovely symptoms of a flare.
