Was wondering if anyone else had this issue before?

Today I was on my way to the doctors to get my weekly blood work done. I felt fine all day and was heading to the office and I started to feel wicked weird. Felt nauseous, arms and legs felt very weak and like they weren't even there and also felt like I was high or light headed. So I made it to the office and still didn't feel right. Sat there for awhile hoping it would go away and ended up throwing up all over myself. So finally made it into the office as I called and told them I would be late for the blood work and they wanted to see me anyway. Told me they would send someone out if I didn't go in. Nurse took my pulse and blood pressure and said they were high so she took my BP again and was the same. Dr. said she felt it might be a bug,flu or something coming on and so sudden because of the meds I'm on. Was just curious if anyone else has ever felt like this before? Never had anything like this happen to me. I still feel weird light headed and very nauseous. They took my blood sugar and also some blood work. Blood sugar level was fine but will get a call tomorrow about the blood work. Any feed back or if anyone else had this before please share and let me know what your Dr. said it was. Thanks!!

added title to your post you can change it

it helps to put title for ppl to know what its about

Sounds like you almost passed out. I used to have super low blood pressure, and would pass out a few times a month. It's definitely a weird feeling- no fun at all. Be sure to pull over if you feel it coming on!

I thought I was going to but never did but sure felt like it. Normally my BP is low or normal but never high. No fun at all. As long as it goes away before this weekend. If not guess I'll have to behave for the 3rd and 4th!

Howlyncat if this happened at home I would have not called the Dr or done anything. But since I was there they asked why I was canceling. I was so embarresed! I said well I'm actually here but in the parking lot and I've thrown up and they asked for the symptoms and told me they would send someone out and get me. I made it in eventually on my own. What have you done when it happened to you? Have you tried anything to help take away the weird feeling? They also checked my urine when I was there and there were traces of blood. No UTI symptoms or anything so they thought it was odd. Always something!!

PS, Thanks for adding a title I didn't even realize I didn't put one. What I'm saying probably doesn't even make sense and I'm probably repeating myself.

Something similar happende to my dd(who hasn't got crohns I hasten to add) She was walking back to halls at uni, felt nauseous, dizzy, arms and legs tingling, passed out and when she came round she couldn't see!!! After what prob amounted to a minute or two(although she said it felt like half an hour) she somehow managed to make contact with another student who came out and helped her back.
She got checked out with her GP(few days later) who didn't find anything abnormal with her blood pressure etc(no bloods taken though), however a couple of weeks later she went to donate blood and after testing it they wouldn't take a donation because of low iron levels.
Maybe just a coincidence but as people with crohns can have iron deficiencies it may be worth checking out your levels.

My iron levels are all back to normal now after having an iron infusion. I force myself to eat even if I'm not hungry. I had breakfast and lunch that day so know it wasn't because I didn't have any food in me. All night I got sick and have nothing left in me now. Have bad stomach cramps guessing thats from throwing up so much. Waiting for the Dr to call with the results from the blood work I'm sure it will be fine. Like I said before I only saw a Dr because I was in their parking lot when it happened and was supposed to have blood taken anyway. Just hoping by next Tuesday all this nonsense is over with!

Thank you huckleberry! Wish I could say I was but just getting worse. Now have sharp left sided pain. Never had that happen before either. Always right sided pain. Pain is almost worse then when I had appendicitis in Sept. Oh well, guess that's life! :(

Pregnant? Dehydration? Food poisoning? Stomache flu? Hope you feel better soon. How high was your BP? That could do it.

My BP was 124/80 and it's normally 90/50 so they said it was high. I've heard some people say their was like 145,150 over something so when they said 124/80 I didn't think it was high at all. My pulse was 129 they said that was also high for someone just sitting there. They took a urine sample FunGuy and I was not pregnant!! Thank god. They called yesterday and they are making me go back in today so they can check my stomach. The nurse said she wants me to see a Dr. because it may be Pancreatitis due to the meds I'm on. I hope not. But not sure what else it could be as it's very painful. Just my luck before my favorite holiday. I guess no beach, booze, or boys for me this weekend. I don't even drink anymore but I probably would have had at least one margarita or something to bring in the 3rd and 4th! Cheers!

I've been having moderate nausea with some light headedness and decrease in app/weight loss the past couple weeks... Also my bowels went from a couple times a day to several times every couple of days... Doc seems to think I've got some stricturing so I started on back on pred monday and am feeling much better. Have some additional tests scheduled as well.

Oh yeah, when I was at the doctors office monday they said my bp and pulse were good... Took bloodwork too...

Did you mention pain in your OP? Pancreatitis hurts a lot in my experience and from what most folks here say. Blood test will tell. Whatever it is I hope you are feeling better today.

Kidney stones? I had them a few months ago, and I felt like I was dying they hurt so bad, or maybe dehydration?
