There you are: could the breast and back pain, as well as the upset gut, be premenstrual? I know I get like that.

However, if this is unusual for you, it might be worth mentioning to your doc (esp gynae) next time you see him / her.

This happens to me when I'm PMSing every few months or so. A week (sometimes 2) before my period, I get symptoms of a flare...fatigue, increased gurgling noises, some D, cramping and horrible mood swings. I usually think I'm flaring and then about 2 weeks later, BAM get my period and the Crohn's goes back to normal. I had this even when I had an extended period of remission, so I'm not sure what it is.

I always attribute it to my Crohn's. Both GIs I've seen in the past have said that it couldn't be the Crohn's. But it might be...
Diagnosed 2002 at 18. Remission for about 7 years. Getting back into the swing of things at 26.

75mg Imuran, 750mg Balsalazide 3x day, Tapering Pred.

Maybe flaring...maybe not?

I can have issues 2 weeks out from my period. Week before last had intermittent cramping and fatigue. I finally started this week and felt much better this week. I find most GIs who say it can't be related are men! rolleyes
