I feel a very localized pain in the left-upper quadrant of my abdomen, right under my ribcage. It seems to happen after I start taking Pentasa again. It could possibly be from Crohn's as well, or maybe nothing at all. The spleen and liver are in that area. I haven't had any abnormal CBC blood work that has ever indicated a liver problem, but I have frequent anemia. Could Pentasa cause an enlarged spleen, or what else could this be?

Liver is in the upper right quadrant. Spookyhurst is correct it could also (and more likely) be the pancreas.
My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.

You might want to call the doc. A side effect of Pentasa is pancreatitis, which needs to be attended to right away.

I'm not worry at the moment since I've run out of Pentasa, but if there's blood work that can be done in the future when I take it, I'd like to get it done.
