So i am back in the hospital and i blame my Cardiologist for it.

I was put on drug your not suppose to GIVE TO patients with digestive disorders.

i developed Acid reflux horrible.. protonix (life saver)
I had to have a NG tube inserted because without it, i would rupture my small bowel from all the trapped Gas and stool the cardizem caused it.

CT Scan showed the stricture wasnt worse or possible better but there was more Air there to FILL a Balloon.

Anyways thats the update.

Question: Anyone with flares or ones who lose weight notice VERY VERY high moving heart rates and and slightly higher resting?

Does inflimation even though you don't eat as much and feel pain or take pain meds..

does having a lot of inflimation in the body (or Crohn's flare up)

cause HIGH moving rates.

So sorry this happened to you, Debilitated.

I'm glad you contacted the hospital and got the advice, help and treatment you need.

Can you get a new cardiologist?

When I was in my worst flare ever, my resting heart rate was about 160 (this is when I'd wake up in the middle of the night and take it).  They sent me to a cardiologist and it got up to 200 walking 4 mph on the treadmill.  They did several tests and everything was working fine, so they attributed it to stress.  As the flare got better, the heart rate did go down a lot.  I still have a higher than normal rate, but it is MUCH better than it was and stays pretty consistent now.
