This may have already been posted, I dont know.  I am sure some of you remember Kevin "Kasper" Clotfelter from the Crohn's Forum's and Chat Rooms.  Kevin passed away on July 8th from Heart Failure as a complication of Crohn's Disease just a few hours after being released from the hospital.  Kevin was a good friend of mine, and I will miss him more than you can imagine. RIP Kevin.

What? No! Was he also posting as 'debilitated'? They seemed very similar to me. How could this happen? I didn't think he was that sick and thought his heart condition was treatable? Do you have more info?

His funeral was on July 12, 2010.  It took a while for the family to be able to contact me.

He was like a brother to me, this has devastated my life. sad

Is there a link to an obituary? I can't find one online. This sounds like malpractice - will the family be taking any action?

I'm so sorry for the loss of your good friend .
I didn't know Kasper  and  tbh I really didn't expect to hear that anyone could die of complications from Crohns and that has really shaken me.
At least he is now  free  from pain, RIP and God Bless

I don't think it's debilitated. Kasper was a veteran member, who used to post quite a lot some time ago.

I may be wrong, but I don't think they are one of the same.

Actually I had assumed for quite some time that delitiated and Kasper were one in the same.   I have no idea if this is true, it was just a feeling.

Debilitated was having heart troubles... I believe he was 22. I don't recall a posting from Kasper in a long while. But, I do remember him. Either way, it's very sad. I keep checking back... wishing peace... So unfair.

I remember Kasper. So sorry to hear of his passing . Like so many that no longer post , I like to think they have found better health and are living a better life. Not always the case I fear. Jason, I'm sorry for the loss of your good friend. May you find peace in the fact that he no longer suffers and is at rest.
