 Its official , my wifes cancer has recurred. Doc has refered her to M D Anderson in Houston. We are waiting for them to call with a date . We are hoping to get her into remission with treatment . I dont know much more than this but will let you guys know when I can. Thanks again for the prayers and good thoughts . There is hope and i am clinging to it . Thanks for being there for me guys.

I'm so sorry for you and Camilla, I'm glad you know that we are all hoping the best for you both, be strong and hang in there..thoughts are with you both.
bee propolis caps 500mg one cap twice/day
omegas 369 caps one cap twice/day
probiotics 10 billion cfu once/day
vitamins C-calcium ascorbate (easy on the gut) and vitamin A each once/day
Prodiem fibre supplement one cap before bed
I've also altered my diet (no junky stuff at all, processed, fast-foods, refined sugars, ect) and exercise regularly.
I went from 30+ bloody BM's/day with lots of lower back pain to an average of 5/day no bleeding no back pain and completely formed stools, still have severe urgency issues.

Male, 55 years old with Crohn's since 15 years old, diagnosed at age 46. Terminal ileum resected 2002. 5 months of remission. Crohn's has now been active since May, 2003. Had a gall bladder removed Nov. of 2009. Currently on Remicade every 8 weeks, Nexium, Iron, B-12 injection every 4 weeks, Morphine Sulfate as needed for pain. Cymbalta for long term pain control. In the past, 5-asa Salofalk, Asacol, Entocort,  Imuran and Prednisone.

Your wife has beaten cancer once, she can do it again. I'll be thinking of you both. xx
Dx - Crohn's (2006), Depression (2010)
Currently - Humira fornightly, iron infusion weekly, B12 3 monthly, prenatal vits+minerals, 25mg prednisolone, calcium supplement,
Tried - aza, pentasa, questran, infliximab
No crohns' surgeries to date, Episcleritis for 3 weeks x 2, pains in hands, wrists, hips, lower back, knees and ankles

Allergic to Infliximab
Was at uni, but have paused the course to try to figure out my health!

I'll be keeping both you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the specialist can come up with a treatment plan that works quickly and gets the job done!

CD 20 years officially, 30 unofficially. 3 resections '93, '95 '97
Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!


Prednisone, 6MP,Prevacid, B12 shots, Bentyl, Xifaxan.....

50 y/o F. CD dx'd Aug 05. Initially on Pentasa, then Imuran 125 mg. Started Humira (very reluctantly) on 10/24/07. Ileocolectomy 4/08. Back on Pentasa as maintenance.

Lomotil, 20mg citalopram,VSL#3 at the moment.

1 fistula, crohn's colitis, limited to large intestine
Compounded budesonide 3mg/daily, Cimzia. Dx Osteoporosis 10/08 started Forteo 1/27/09

Dx'd w/ Crohn's in 1979 at age 13. Bad flare 2008 but no health insurance so I dealt with it. Colonoscopy in July 2009 caused a perforated colon, emergency bowel resection. 2 fistula's, perianal and perivaginal.

Humira, probiotic, a multivitamin, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and fish oil. I also take Tramadol 50 mg and Klonopin (for anxiety) as needed.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!

Back on Prednisone, Colestipol.Nexium, Propranolol, Vivelle patch
No longer on Imuran due to pancreatitis
Have taken Entocort, Bentyl, Flagyl, Lomidil, Pentasa
Have had myriad of health problems attributed to many different things over the past ten years. Our family has a history of Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis and Bowel Cancer.

Thank you all for being there for us . We are going to get her the best care possible but prayers and good thoughts and hope from you guys are such a great help , I cant express my gratitude . I dont think I've ever been this afraid .

Misdiagnosed w/ Lactose Intolerance @ 11 y/o
Misdiagnosed w/ IBS @ 16 y/o
3 hospital stays in the last 6 months
been on Asacol, Pentassa, Remicaide, Humira, Prednisone on and off (I think it's the devil) and lost more random things.
Right now 6MP ,Monthly B-12,Fish Oil, about to start Cimzia, just went off prednisone AGAIN, just stopped Humira
 
Married with a 3 y/o
~Want to get this back in control so I can try for another baby! :)

Meds: Celebrex, Omeprazole, Liadla, Entocort EC 9mg/day, Vit D, Mulitvit, Omega 3's, Ambian, Neurontin.

51 yr. old female, diagnosed with Crohn's in small intestine and terminal ileum Sept-Oct. 2007. Also have IBS, and had Salmonella Dec. '07
currently taking Pentasa- 4 500mg pills per day, Metamucil and colace for constipation, probiotics
