(posting in the evening because I kept being disconnected this morning)

Today was supposed to be a mind-body-spirit day, but I was too tired to really focus on that, so just tried to catch up on some basics instead. I might try to have a Sunday tomorrow, if I can.

Basics:

* drink water (had some; not as much as I "should")
* eat veggies - three veg, one fruit so far
* exercise - yes!
* make bed - not yet nono
* spirituality stuff - yes, but still want to do more

And:

* go down street and get a few last-minute groceries - yes
* start antibiotics - yes skull
* get in touch with another of the zillions of people I've fallen out of contact with
* rest - yes!!!!! yeah (I needed a "down" day)
* read - yes!
* dishes - yes, lots yeah
* tidying - yes, but still want / hope to do more
* some more flood clean-up - yes

Will try to keep pottering away at tidying / contacting people / organising things for the next few hours, then feed the cats and myself and grab an early night.

Have a good Sunday, everyone.

its some cash in hand work i've been given. Its for re-enactments and plays. I get it already machine statiched together but i have to hand stitch the seams cos vikings didnt have sewing machines way back when! Its pretty decent money really, £30 per costume. I have 5 to do plus the one i'm nearly finished. Just three more seams to do. I was further ahead but i made a mistake so had to unpick the collar. Still, not too much more to go. Hopefully i'll pick it up again tonight and be finished for the morning so it can go back and i can get my next costume! Its easy work once you've got your head into it, i've never really done it before so am making plenty of mistakes!

* get dressed - done
* do some dishes - done
* do 15 minutes tidying in my room - done but now have to do way more
* do seams on viking costume - done several times over but still needs to be finished
* eat plenty - not really done, forgot to have a proper lunch so have snacked on flapjack, choc ices and caramel shortcake. whoops!

Bonus Item

* got into the attic and shifted LOADS of my stuff up there. All uni work is now in attic, plus xmas decorations and DVD boxes.

Today I've so far driven my mum to the supermarket to get dinner and completed a hard sudoku puzzle. That's about it ¬_¬

I feel drained from yesterday, where I went out for a 3-course lunch. It was beautiful, but of course digesting that much food is very tiring. I was lucky in that I didn't really get any pain, though. A little bit, but it soon passed.

This evening I'm going to try to:

*sort out my Flickr account a bit more
*install the CD manual for my camera and try to read it. Basically, my goal is to learn how to use all the manual controls for my camera.
*Start upon my new book, The Passage. It's so long, I'm scared to start it :-/
*Maybe start the next Temple in Zelda: Ocarina Of Time
*Reply to a PM and a couple of emails (important)
*Do something which is increasingly preying on my mind; I must do it within the next few days and stop putting it off any longer, as I'm just being a coward over it. [Personal]

That's fairly ambitious, considering how lacklustre I currently feel. But don't want to fritter away another evening just surfing aimlessly on the internet. (I have a bad habit of aimless surfing, when I don't feel like posting but don't feel like doing anything else either.)

By the way if anybody would like to see a (very) small sample of my photos, they are here. You can get to see what I look like... <_<

NCOT, do you want to talk about the thing that's worrying you? My email is open if you do (even though I'm an awfully unreliable replier at times).

You *are* clever, Chocholic. I'm super-impressed. about how long does it take you to make one costume?

Well, so far I've achieved precisely none of my TLCs :-/ Been so listless this evening. Sometimes I think that listlessness may have displaced diarrhoea as the main symptom of my Crohn's. After I've finished replying on HW, I'll get a cup of tea then try to at least install the manual and reply to the PM and emails.

@Ivy - Thank you for the offer. I may take you up on that, although I'm afraid it won't show me up in a very good light :-/

^Anybody who can make a costume from scratch is talented in my eyes. I don't know how to sew on a button, literally.

NCOT, try not to be too hard on yourself. Lethargy is incredibly hard to deal with. And don't worry about looking bad. I've already said I like you :-).

btw, you're pretty! Your hair style really suits you.

What's that white starry flower planted with the geraniums? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Well, I've achieved the proud distinction of not meeting one single TLC today... >_>

Thank you! :p

I, uh, have no idea. And I was with my mum in the garden centre when she picked it, too ;_; I'll ask my mum tomorrow, but doubt she will remember any more than I do :-/

In the meantime, I think I'll log off after this post. If I can get a decent night's sleep, I can aim at meeting today's TLCs tomorrow morning... <_<
