While I know the weight loss is not a good thing, I must say I'm jealous. The pred weight just will not go away!

Hope everything works out!
Dx'd w/ Crohn's in 1979 at age 13. Bad flare 2008 but no health insurance so I dealt with it. Colonoscopy in July 2009 caused a perforated colon, emergency bowel resection. 2 fistula's, perianal and perivaginal.

Humira, probiotic, a multivitamin, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and fish oil. I also take Tramadol 50 mg and Klonopin (for anxiety) as needed.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!

Heyyyyyy, before you become the incredible shrinking man, cant we pump some good cajun crawfish pie or red beans and rice down you ? It works for me . Maybe you need to head south before BP ruins all the good food..

no its not real sudden . been losing since xmas or a little earlier.. tpn can be adjusted and mine is. more calories etc.. we figure im taking in 5-7,000 calories a day.. my liver can only process so much TPN. my numbers were way high after the last fever a couple weeks ago.

as for your sugestion sniper, i think that it would cause me to lose my lunch rather than being my lunch! ;0)

four quarts water, 1 cup split peas, five chopped or shredded carrots, 1 turkey breast, 1 medium zucchini, 1 spanish onion, 1 thumb sized ginger root shredded, 1 tblsp. garlic, 3 tblsp salt(or to taste), 2 tblsp applecider vinegar, 2 tblsp coconut oil .

in a large pot, bring everything to a low boil. reduce and cooked covered on low heat til peas are soft. puree everything with a hand processor. Eat.

this recipe has been a life saver for us. whenever my son starts to feel off, we make soup. within a few days he feels better, the  color comes back, and his weight levels or gains hope it helps Randy

Randy: Do you ever ask the guys making the TPN for extra ingredients - chocolate bars, cookies and anything else that is bad for you?  Man, its not that I envy you . . .but gosh you can fit into anything in your closet I'll bet!  Instead of sending you hugs heres a few pounds to you!  Take care . . and am still waiting for your new and revised web site!  Barb

Meds: Celebrex, Omeprazole, Liadla, Entocort EC 9mg/day, Vit D, Mulitvit, Omega 3's, Ambian, Neurontin.

grumpy, well actually ive been having to buy more clothes. i got rid of all my "smal" clothes a few years ago. the thought was ' well illl never be that small again" so ig ot rid of everything under 38 waist and large shirts. at one time i had complete boxes from 33 waist to 46 waist. sitting now at 36. could maybe do a 35 but not a 34 yet.. they used to stop odd sizes for men at 35 , ill have to look next time im out.

oh, and yes they are adding to my TPN. its a slow process. cant just up it to fast.

They still make a 35 Randy. I go back and forth between 34 and 35. Some size 36 are small enough too ,depends on what brand. I hate buying clothes because you cant just know your size anymore, you have to try each one on. I doesn't help to have a shape like , Big Fig either...
