Does this mean I have malabsorption or a gall bladder issue? At first, I ignored it b/c I thought it came from my wipes but I just put some wipes in the toilet by themselves and there was no oily film. I had a bad morning with diarrhea. Ugh!!!!!

I have this same problem some days- my GI told me that it was because I am not absorbing fat properly, especially with constant diarrhea or rapid transit :)

So I guess that would be malabsorption...

So, it sounds like it is somewhat "normal" when you have diarrhea then, so I won't worry. My stools don't float, so I guess I am ok. I wonder sometimes if it could be causing the diarrhea. I don't eat a high fat diet either.

As far as I learned, it doesn't matter whether your stools float or not. That has to do with fat content too.
