My husband was recently deployed. Please pray that he stays safe and things at home are smooth for me. I have been doing great the past few months so I am hoping I can keep my stress down during this deployment and avoid a flare up. Hope everyone is well :)

My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. I know what it's like to have a loved one deployed it's not just hard for the one overseas but for the entire family. My brother has been deployed 3 times far. Thinking of you and stay strong during this difficult time.

my prayers go out to you and your husband!! keep up the good work with your crohn's. xo
Tracy from montreal. Dx with Cd 7 years ago but un-Dx for 10 years. Meds currently taking;Imuran (1 and half tab daily)Humira (bi-weekly) pentasa, been on prent 4 times but horrible side effects doc wont use this on me anymore. Humira has put my CD into remission, after using remicade for a year and half which caused remi induced arthritis. I am currently (most days) arthritis free. Currently dealing with endometriosis.

How long will he be gone?  Take care of yourself and I hope that he is back home safe and sound soon.  My hubby was in Thailand for 13 months in 1972 and I remember how tough it was.  Work on a project, write him everyday, plan for the big welcome home party you will give him as you mark off each day gone by on your calendar with a big X! Take care.

ragbag, unfortunately that is not something she is suppose to share, and can change at any point in time anyway. So she is really going a have a rough bit here for a while.

Hugs to you, I totally know how you feel my hubby was in the Army and it was hard going when deployed to dangerous places try not to watch the news to much as they tend to hype it up a bit. As a post above said it affects the loved ones at home also. hang in there the best you can. Bev x

You and your Husband are awsome. Tell him please how much his service means to us. You are both Heroes to me!
David
Was on Kapidex, and Pentasa, multi Vit, Vit D. Started on Predisone and my legs started paining with loss of control. Doc stopped all meds until I can figure out was is happening with my legs. Off meds for 2 weeks and have returned about 75% to normal.
