I don't usually buy into homeopathic remedies, but I am aware that there are some herbs out there that can fight inflammation. The only problem is that in the US they aren't regulated by the FDA. I can't afford the usual meds right now. What herbal medicines are there that can stop inflammation in the intestine, and have you personally had success with it?

I've tried royal jelly, and I ain't gonna take that every day.

Jordan Rubin from the Maker's diet has some anti-inflammatory products with ginger that work pretty well.  Not the same as mainstream medicine though and the Maker's diet is a whole lifestyle adjustment.  One has to jump into his program and re-tool eating with a change in belief systems.  Its hard emotional and physical work but might be well worth your while.  Still wouldn't go off of mainstream treatments though.
Meds: Celebrex, Omeprazole, Liadla, Entocort EC 9mg/day, Vit D, Mulitvit, Omega 3's, Ambian, Neurontin.

I agree that it is very important to stick with your "normal" meds and doctor and use other ideas as an adjunct. I was using Tumeric and I thought it helped. I ran out though and have been too cheap to buy more......
