I'm trying to have a rest and renewal day here.

Basics:

* shower, wash hair, dress (eventually!) tongue
* make bed
* exercise
* stretch
* drink water
* eat veg
* spirituality stuff - done, but will try to do more

Try to do at least some of these:

* tlc for body - face mask? tlc for legs?
* tlc for relationships - phoning, emailing, writing (done some, but will try to do much more)
* tlc for house - strip bed, air and wash sheets? some decluttering? any extra jobs that can bring sunshine and sparkle to the house?
* tlc for life - more volunteer stuff; anything off the stress list; preps for next week
* tlc for happiness - spend time outside; pick / plant flowers; think happy thoughts; do something fun?; do something creative?

Oh, and try to pick up meds.

That's about it for me for now.

Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Ivy.

* do some mending - done, and still doing

Mines going to sound stupid.

Don't throw up. Don't throw up. Manage at least the minimum of medicines and don't throw up.
Get out of bed and don't throw up.
Avoid the red drinks to figure out what the red uh potty moments was from.
Do NOT throw up.

--Reg. doc said if I kept puking to go to the ER since they'll get me rehydrated. I honestly don't really care...at all. I know I'm supposed too but I'm NOT going to an ER. I don't want the looks. I don't want their meds. I don't want their IVs and blown veins and all the LOVELY pain they give you.

So, really that's all I'm hoping for today. That I don't puke and and that I don't have to go to ER. Cripes, I'm tired/fatigued really bad lately. No energy but I can't sleep until I can sleep. So, another tlc, sleep.

(((Joie & Choc)))

Go with husband to do laundry, go for a walk somewhere, must keep walking daily. In the later afternoon, go to our nieces house and visit with the family we have not seen since before my surgery. Really looking forward to that:) All my grandbabies are kinda far away, and my nieces kids help fill the void.

I hope you had fun, Nanners.

Joie1,
I am so sorry that you are going through such a rough time. The best anti-vomiting suppositories are Phenergan and Compazine. I am surprised your doctor didn't call in a prescription for you. They work within 15 minutes and also make you very drowsy so you can finally sleep. There is also an over the counter version that works pretty well. I don't remember the name of it but your pharmacist should know it. Send someone to your closest pharmacy or call the doctor again.
The brand name version of Vicodin makes me throw up violently and often. It took a while for me to figure out what was making me throw up. The generic version does not make me vomit. I hope you have really fast relief.

That's really good advice, Subzero.

Joie, I hope you're feeling better by the time you see this.

I'm sorry I haven't been doing these, Ivy. about a week ago I was delivered the straw which finally broke the donkey's back and I can't get over it. I may make a thread about it. In fact I'd like to. Partly because I've been feeling so dreadfully isolated in what I am going through. But right now I have to go to bed. Goodnight.

:-(

Do you want to "talk" about it by email, NCOT?

It's hard to know what to say... Huge hugs, and sympathy :-(.

*hugs back to you all*

Now I feel a teensy bit guilty :-/ I know that everybody else on this board has their problems, including the ever miserable Crohn's. I don't really like to go on for that reason. I'll make a thread about it anyway, and you can be the judge of if I'm overreacting to things or not... :-/

I have started the thread, but I am braindead tonight. I don't want to waffle and bore everyone with a novel, but it is proving a tough task summarising succinctly. I think I'll have to finish it tomorrow, given the time it is now :-/

I will make that Tuesday's tlc; finish my thread tomorrow morning. Also, I'm starting to upset myself again, which I would rather not do just before bedtime.

In the meantime, thank you. Sincerely. That sounds lame in text, but I do really mean it.

Would you like to send me what you've written now, just so you know you've got some of it off your chest? That way, you'll have some hugs when you wake.

I'm in and out of this room doing chores, but anticipate being at home with the computer on for most of today. It's too cold to be out of this room for long!

Keep on being kind to yourself, NCOT. I know you don't feel that way right now, but you are special and worth all the tlc you (and we) can give you.

Okay. It's not a lot. I'm a slower putter-together-of-thoughts at the best of times, never mind when I am braindead :-/

I'll email it to you now, then after this I had better be off to bed <_<

Thank you once again. All my (not very well buried) feelings of worthlessness have come right back up to the surface again, that's for sure =/
