Naturally things went downhill really quickly Friday night and I ended up in the ER. Just a month ago my colonoscopy was completely normal...biopsies and all! Anyway, they did a CT and my surgeon says it's adhesions, and these exact spots that are causing obstruction have caused problems before. Tomorrow I'll have a Small Bowel Series done, and then we'll decide whether or not to do surgery to fix those spots. He's cautious about doing surgery, not knife happy or anything, so I'll go along with what he says we need to do.

Just an update, I'll fill in more tomorrow.

Sending healing prayers your way. I really don't think they will do surgery to release these adhesions as doing surgery will only create more adhesions/scar tissue. Hope they are able to help you get more painfree. Hugs!

I just had surgery a week ago for adhesions. It was done lapro but then again all my surgeries were lapro and it happened anyway. I was at a point where I was on a mostly liguid diet. It's still early but better. The surgery was a lot harder than I thought ( maybe my age-lol )
