I am a college student from the USA. I love to travel and am trying my hardest not to let this disease get in the way of my life. I am looking into some study abroad courses in Spain and Italy. I receive Remicade. I don't speak either of the languages and am worried this could be a big problem. I have studied abroad before but in England so their was no language barrier, but if I study in a country that doesn't speak english and receive Remicade, will this be a big problem. Has anyone else ever had to receive remicade in a country where they did not speak the language and did it work out okay. I am worried about getting the insurance right and making sure everything goes okay.

I think your first step would be to ensure that the med will be available to you in each country, and in the town / city where you hope to live.

This is not a given...

I can't offer advice on the other issues, sorry, but wish you all the best.
