Well, I had surgery here at Mayo Clinic yesterday, and things went well. They removed 8 inches of SB and 3 inches of LB. Now i'm on Oxy-cotton and going for short walks up and down the hall. I have not farted or pooped yet, but I have had some wonderful chicken broth and ice cream! They were able to do the whole procedure laprascopicly, which has helped with pain. Things are still a bit fuzzy in my brain, I will keep you updated. -ZZ

i'm walking a fair bit (6-8 walks down the halls a day). now i just need my bowels to wake up and pass gas. It's the little things that count now!

Farting used to ruin my day, now i crave it!!

I agree, don't worry the farts and poops are near. Keep up your walking, it can only help. Hope you make sure to get onto some type of maintenance med and that you then enjoy a long long remission. Hugs!
