Humira expiring

I have been on humira now for a few years and I think it is petering out.  I have started having really bad joint pain in my toes, ankles, knees, hips, elbows, wrists and fingers.  Also I have a recto vag fistula that is flaring up and not responding to any treatment.  Docs don't want any surgery for it because they don't feel it would do any good at this point and I am just waiting for a call back about possibly starting back up on prednisone for the joint pain.  This sucks as was feeling decent for a good amount of time.  My husband has recently decided that he just doesn't understand this disease anymore and why can't I just be better and normal again and I told him it just doesn't work that way.  Depression setting in...just want to be better.

Dx CD 2003 but probably had it 10 years prior, Dx Primary Sclerossing Cholangitis 2006, Dx hypothyroid (surgery induced) 2009, Dx Severe Vitamin D deficiency 2009

GB out '95, Appendix out '96, Kidney stent '02/stone removal '02, Resection '04, fistulectomy '06 2x, tubal '05, thyroidectomy '09

Currently on  Ambien, predsnisone, humira 1x wk, probiotic, questran lite, sinthroid, vitamin d and calcium

That does suck mojowo. Hopefully you can get the pred as it may help with your arthritis pain.
Its easy to become depressed about this disease and I can understand how your husband feels as that is the way I feel about myself - why cant I just be back to normal (not sure what that is myself anymore lol)

Humira is giving out on me as well, I also have a recto vag fistula that is giving me tons of trouble, no one understands what this disease does to you it takes control of your life no matter how hard you try to fight it off, mad .
