Well. Because Ivy was super-tired yesterday, she neglected the housework and now has a BIG mess to deal with... not to mention an ant swarm, because the little critters invaded the house to escape the storm. eyes

tlcs for me:

* don't beat myself up about the mess, but just deal with it as well as I can... or not, depending on fatigue
* shower, wash hair, and dress
* either straighten my sheets, or make my bed
* try to put a few things away whenever I'm up and about
* meds
* a little bit of exercise or stretching (done a bit already)
* try to spend some time outside while it's not raining (done a bit already)
* go back to bed and rest whenever I'm tired
* talk to family

And try to do at some / all of these, if I get some energy:

* tlc for legs
* print letters, address envelopes, put in envelopes, stamp envelopes
* work out who to vote for, once and for all (totally depressing and not easy at all this year)
* either go to appointment, or postpone it
* if going to appointment, try to vote early so I don't have to drag myself out and stand in line on the actual day skull
* if going to appointment, post letters
* some / all dishes
* some / all tidying
* some more mending
* do a small load of washing

And, on the "I have Buckley's but should post these anyway" list:

* update shopping list
* buy groceries
* buy cat food
* strip bed; wash and change sheets confused tongue

Ivy -- hope you feel better. I'm right with you on the mess. We have fruit flies. :( They're driving me nuts. So much to clean, but I'm going to follow your lead and not beat myself up about what doesn't get done.
Choc -- is that party tonight? Good luck.
Glori -- enjoy your outing!!

My unwanted house guests arrive soon. Fitting that it's Friday the 13th.
My TLC:
relax, deep breaths
ignore disparaging comments
stand up to poor behavior
stick to my guns
remember it's only 4 days
find ways to rest and eat properly

Choc-- eat that icecream for me PLEASE! My tooth is still too sensitive to even drink cool beverages without a straw. Ice cream sounds so good, but painful. Hopefully they'll fix the tooth Sat.

Ugh! Fruit flies drive me nuts! They came for me a couple of weeks ago. Don't seem as bad as last summer though. I immediately quarantined all fruit! Such a hassle! good luck! Good luck with the houseguests too!
