I was wondering if any one has any issues with constipation instead of D? I have it really bad and can't seem to go without a laxative. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I gave myself an enema last night and barely anything came out. Should I be concerned? any help is appreciated.

I suffer with more constipation than diarrhea, I use stool softners nightly and they help to keep things softer and easier to pass. I have been doing this for years and my GI has no problems with it. Another suggestion is Miralax. Good luck!

I have always had constipation as well.  My docs have suggested stool softeners, which I only use when I have to...if I haven't gone for a few days and it's starting to hurt.  Probably should use them everyday, but I already take enough pills and hate to add more if I don't have to.  My rheumy just put me on another DMARD for arthritis and a side effect is D and I thought, "good, maybe now I can go to the bathroom!"  =)

Prune juice in the morning and night when its really bad. Only once in the morning once it's getting better.
It tastes bad but you get used to it.
Also a salad everyday and you'll be excellent.
I had the same problem for years, tried everything, I use this method and now I'm feeling better then I ever have.
