I was planning on starting an exclusive enteral nutrition diet in the very near future. However, I had a colonoscopy/upper GI small bowel done a few days ago and it appears I have pretty bad colitis at the moment, I think my small intestine is fine. I've read research papers saying enteral nutrition doesn't effect colonic inflammation in the same way it effects small intestinal inflammation. What is everyone's opinion on this, specifically Margarat/writer?

It can work in Crohn's colitis, although the odds of success may be a little lower, and full response may take a little longer. As long as it's Crohn's and not UC, it's worth a try.
