Just a few short ones to get me started, as I'm tired after sitting up late (for me) watching the election and don't want to end up faffing around and losing today.

* open doors and windows and air house because it's not raining, for a change smilewinkgrin
* eat breakfast
* watch the Insiders
* see if any more clothes are dry
* do another load of washing
* shower and dress (eventually)
* ? go back to bed and read spirituality stuff?
* spend as much time outside as I can, once it warms up out there

Will try to come back and add more later.

A tired Ivy.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

By the end of Sunday I want to get done:
*clean bathroom
*cut front yard
*finish 2 loads laundry-hopefully wash comforter before seeing Mom so I can give back to her
*spend time with family...bonus points if I get some sun on my pale legs!

I'm trying to relax some also...so will probably sleep in!!

Saw you got a new super duper shredder Ivy! Enjoy!

Got the bathroom (at least the counter and toilet) cleaned so far, will clean shower while showering, then tub later in the day (after sleeping!)
Also finished 1 load of laundry and comforter is about to go in dryer

Probably will not go to sleep for another hour (going to sleep at 4am), but will try to be up by noon so I can be more productive. I way overslept yesterday and wasn't up until 3pm....EEEK!

I did get a super new shredder, Becky, and it is super duper good! It's a bit appalling, really, how much I've shredded already, but, to be fair, I've been saving all this stuff *to* be shredded, so it's not as if I could just find it by doing a quick rummage around the house :-).

btw, you asked about age the other day. about the same as you, I think. A year older maybe.

Mambo, did you end up making those sachets? Would you mind sharing the recipe one day, please? I make pomander balls and lavender wands, but haven't tried the combination you're using, and it sounds lovely.

I've tried to take advantage of our one and only sunshiny day by doing HEAPS of washing, and by dragging rugs and bedding outside to air. Have also done heaps of weeding, and planted some flowers. I'm super tired now, though, so will be heading to bed shortly.

Can I just say, for the record, that I am completely fed up with this weather? I know we've been in drought and need the rain, but this is getting ridiculous.

Becky, I hope you had fun with your family.

'night.

a tired Ivy.

ps. Where is Chocholic? Has anyone seen / heard from her?

I'm here Ivy!! was very very down all of yesterday and really just didnt want to spread my 'downness' to everyone else.
We have two new kittens. We picked them up about an hour and a half ago. They travelled pretty well , but it was rather hot in the car on the way back so they got slightly overheated. I have Gucci (boy, ginger and white) sat on the sofa cushion near my left shoulder, whilst his sister (Coco, ginger, white and black) has hidden herself under the sofa. Gucci is very talkative and has settled really well considering he's only been 'home' for an hour or so. Coco is alot more timid and will take some time to ocme out of herself. She also hasnt quite found her voice and so just squeaks!
Both are absolutely adorable and i'm already head over heels in love with them both!

Sunday TLC's

* shower and wash hair - done
* get dressed - done
* bring in cat travel box and clean out - done
* collect kittens - done
* eat lunch - done
* figure out of kittens are house trained or not

Going to clean the tub then take a break and relax, then get food ready to have dinner with family!

Chocholic-new kitties are so exciting! Glad you got them home safely, and I'm also glad you're having a better day today. Are your hands feeling ok?

Monkiray my hands are ok at the moment, but i'll bet i'll be aching tomorrow with the amount of times i've rescued kittens from under furniture where thay have gotten stuck! They seem to have really gotten their confidence in the living room. They havent really ventured into the kitchen yet, and they dont seem to be house trained. Lovely!!
I'm hoping to get you guys some photos, but my internet sucks so not sure if they will load up properly!
