Basics:

* shower and dress
* some / all dishes
* tidy up some of the mess in this room :-)
* keep trying to get clothes dry eyes
* a small load of washing?
* make bed
* tlc for bedroom
* take rubbish out, then bins
* exercise
* get some sun and fresh air, when I can
* spirituality stuff (I haven't been doing this properly lately, and feel guilty)

And on the "Ivy is a Superstar" list:

* more paperwork
* daunting phone call?? which I *know* will be less daunting if I just make it...
* men to come to take scrap metal away - something that has been on my list for 12 - 18 months turn
* go out into garage and clear a path so they can remove some more metal?
* tradesman to come? Maybe?
* put up soap holder?????

And tlc for me:

* keep sewing up rug
* tlc for body, which needs it. Feet? Legs?
* listen to more music and less news, because the news is both irritating and depressing

That's it for now. I might come back and add more later.

btw, if anybody is feeling low and needing some inspiration, here's (what I think is) a really good blog:

It took her quite a few years, but this lady pulled herself through a messy house, various family tragedies, etc etc etc, and started building a healthier and happier life for herself. I'm really enjoying reading it.

Have a happy Tuesday!

Monday definitely turned into a lazy day for me. I didn't accomplish anything off my list. I kinda feel good about letting myself relax, but feel like I should get at least one thing done. I think I'll go vacuum the car then shower, then go back to relaxing.

For Tuesday:
*Take car through carwash
*spray tires so they're super clean and shiny
*schedule dentist appointment
*Walmart run for some returns and purchases
*maybe start on edging

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I got the car vacuumed...it looks so much better now! Going to go take a nice long shower then watch some tv and rest. Hopefully I'll sleep well and be more productive in the morning!

Well, I'm feeling so smug I'm close to sporting a halo :-).

* more paperwork - yes. Finished one big job.
* daunting phone call?? which I *know* will be less daunting if I just make it... - yes. Gosh.
* men to come to take scrap metal away - something that has been on my list for 12 - 18 months - yes!
* go out into garage and clear a path so they can remove some more metal? - and yes!

And you should see the extra space I have, by gosh and by golly :-).

* tlc for body, which needs it. Feet? Legs? - Yes. Feet.
* listen to more music and less news, because the news is both irritating and depressing - yes

* shower and dress - yes
* some / all dishes - some
* tidy up some of the mess in this room - some
* keep trying to get clothes dry - ha. Trying, but not having much success.
* exercise - yes, but will try to do more
* get some sun and fresh air, when I can - yes, though couldn't get much.

I hope you're feeling refreshed after your long rest, Becky.

Well we had a breakthrough last night. Coco came, sat on my knee and had a little cuddle. Gucci did follow her but he hasn't figured out the whole 'cuddles are lovely' thing yet. They are now pretty much house trained. Both are going happily in the litter. They are two little bundles of fun, and they're favourite thing at the moment is to take turns chasing each other around the living room.
I adore them, and they give me something to do each day. Even if its just getting them used to me.

Tuesday TLC

* get dressed
* keep taking pain killers for my headache
* play with the kittens once they wake up
* do some more dishes
* try not to get worried about my dentist appt tomorrow

P.S Ivy - you can have our rain if you like! its been raining for almost two days!

Awww, Choc, hope your headache goes away. Keep enjoying the little ones. They're so fun to play with and watch when they're so little! Now that mine is older, she doesn't play much, and when she does, she likes to bite me, so I don't play much.

Yay Ivy for getting some stuff off the list. It feels good to have something done that's been on there for so long, doesn't it?

It's nice out today (relatively...it's ONLY 84 out right now) so I'm going to go do some edging before I shower, then maybe run some errands.

Never fear, the rain arrived a few hours after I posted that, and the car now looks much cleaner when it did. I'm thinking of doing this fairly regularly while the heavy rain lasts: sponge a few grimy spots before i take the car out, and then let the rain rinse it clean. Much easier on the bod & fatigue levels than trying to clean it all at once.

Choc, which one is the ginger and white one? Is that Coco?

GO ME!!! I got bonus points and earned tomorrow as a rest day because I got all the edging and cleaning up done! The yard is now taken care of...for at least a week and a half sad then the battle begins again.

I just took a shower and I'm going to run to Walmart. Hopefully there aren't too many people there and I can get in and out and back home to relax.

I also might run by my sister's house and drop off a couple things...depending on how the Walmart trip goes confused

I still haven't made the dentist appointment...will put off yet another day and brush teeth extra tonight!
