Hope you all have been well!  Been missing you guys...  Well my current situation is in limbo.  I'm waiting for the insurance company to approve the Cimzia (they won't approve the initial 3 doses at once)  So I'm fighting with the insurance company and working with the cimplicity program.  All of this is overwhelming as I am noticing my crohns symptoms maybe calming down and I'm not sure I even want to try the Cimzia.  I still have the horrible leg pain, I honestly think its from the Remicade, but no Dr. will agree with me.  I've seen 5 different drs and no one can help me with this.  I'm now trying Cymbalta to see if this will help, but I've now been on it for 3 weeks with no results.  The pain is unbearable worse than my stomach pain.  I get electric bolts throughout my legs constantly.  So I'm literally sitting there and then screaming the next minute.  I've tried lyrica, neurontin, pain meds, etc.  Nothing seems to help.  Anyway, sorry I haven't been hangin around but my main problem seems to be the leg thing now.  My last infusion was June23.  And I use to get them every 6 wks.  I've been tested for everything and just don't know where else to turn.
Current meds:  Remicade
Tried:  Prednisone, sulfasalzine, lialda, antibiotics, imuran
29 yr old female w/ crohn's colitis and SEVERE leg pain

Hiiiiiii, sorry your in limbo. Sometimes you really need to get ugly with the insurance co. I have found that they do their best to see if you will just give up , thus saving them money. I drive them nuts until they give me a straight answer. Hope you hear something positive soon and get better...

Sickofitall, have you been to any orthopedist or physiatrist (physical rehab medicine) about your leg pain?

I have a sports medicine DR that I see sometimes. My sacroiliac joint is arthritic from the CD, so I do have some leg and hip pain that he was treating with physical therapy. There's also acupuncture and massage that might help if you have a muscle spasm in your piriformis (which can irritate the sciatic nerve).

That does sound deeply unpleasant. Nothing useful to offer, but I hope your legs get better soon :-/

Yeah, I'm still fighting.  Had a conference call with Cimplicity, insurance company, and prescription delivery company.  I got very upset because they can't even get my phone # right after calling 4 times.  Its been two months.  They say they cannot get in touch with me so they close out my claim.  UGGHH!  They said they are not paying for the induction dose bc it boiled down to cost; they wanted to bill 3x instead of 1x starter pack.  Total copay $150.  I told the insurance company would they rather an emergency hospital bill or maintenance med bill!  Thx for the support as usual!  I have not seen an orthepedist as my drs say there is nothing wrong with my legs as far as the anatomy goes.  Bones and joints work very well.  Its extremely painful, I want to get in the car and drive to the MAYO clinic.  I'm desparate!
