Try it and see what happens. There's a low acid one that might help. Different brands might cause probelms too...

I've drank it in every flare except the past one and never had a problem. This past one it helped "move things along" so I drank it when I got constipated only...can't wait to get out of the flare and get back on my coffee.

I usually drink it every morning and like Tooth said it helps move things along. If I go through a period of constipation I will drink a cup. I know that different brands affect me way differently. If I drink a Starbucks Coffee I had better be close to the bathroom because it goes through me a lot quicker than store bought brands.

I just recently gave regular (mostly decaf) coffeee up cause I'm flaring too much, but I might have a tiny bit of decaf. or half decaf. espresso with honey now.
I also will drink a regular green tea if I really need some caffeine. For me, it's hard to tell if the espresso makes the CD worse, but the green tea is a definite help (so is chamomile).

I mostly drink tea, but I'm on a bit of a coffee kick at the moment. <3 a cup of decently made black coffee.

My bowels don't seem to care about caffeine.

Yeah the coffee doesn't seem to bother me.  It seems like the warm liquid helps me feel a bit better when it starts out being a rough day.

Need my black tea, but I have to add cream to cut the acid. Helps me move things along on a slow day, and I'm not just talking about my work. ;-)

I only have a problem if I drink too much coffee, like a whole pot. Otherwise I have my morning java, usually only 1-3 cups and no issues.
The only problem I have is with Cafe Mochas, I don't know what it is but 1/2 hour after I would drink one I'm looking for the restroom. No more Mochas!!!

I LOVE coffee, but haven't been able to drink it (decaf or otherwise) since about Christmas(even with lots of creme/coffeemate)...for me, it is due to the acids...I even have to cut back a bit on the tea (Iced tea is usually not as bad as a strong brewed morning tea)...again, the acid thing...

I am just getting over a flare and I had to quit coffee for the first time. Before the prednisone kicked in I couldn't even imagine taking a sip so I thought I might as well take the opportunity to quit! Now I am feeling better and starting to miss it - but right now I can't handle the acid anyway. I realized that even decaf and prednisone do not mix well in the tummy - very sore! So now I have tea with lots of milk in the morning and save my decaf coffee time until the afternoon. I love the taste of the decaf, but admit I'm missing the caffine - so not sure what I might do down the road!

I had meant to add in my earlier post that I seem to be more fatigued and want to drink coffee even more than ever to help keep me going.

funny thing...though coffee and strong black tea can hurt my stomach...I can do some Red Bull, I know that it upsets some people's stomachs, but it is one of the caffeine things I CAN do...I can do some green tea as well...I can't do a lot of the other "sports" drinks, because my body HATES ginseng and many of the others(SoBee, Monster) have this...

During the 5 years I was flaring, I was unable to have even a sip of coffee, and even decaf (for some reason) would upset me. Thanks to a remicade-induced remission, I can now enjoy it again! thank god! I LOVE coffee!

Don't even approach me till I've had my morning cup of coffee. Although, when I'm in a flare the thought of coffee makes me ill. I have two cups a day, and for some odd reason I look forward to my late afternoon cup more than I do my morning cup.

3:30-itis? Do you use that term in the US, or is it an aussie-only thing? :)

Nope, we get the idea.  I think it is a common enough idea...they talk about the 2:00 crash when advertising "5 HOUR ENERGY" shots....although mine happens at midnight and again about 3:30am.  I am working 5pm to 5am.
