I had my remicade yesterday. Long overdue because we have been gone to Houston for my wifes cancer treatment . Like most days after the infusion I feel wrung out . Didn't sleep last night. Odd, the body is tired but the mind wont stop running. I was glad to see morning and made coffee and sat on the back porch to watch the sunrise. The morning was warm and misty  and the scent of my wifes roses and ginger filled the back yard. The mocking birds were first to wake and then cardinals followed by the house wren that lit on the chair next to me and sang his song before dining on last nights spiders . The sun came up like a glowing orange ball and lit up the fog rolling down the bayou. Yep, another day in paradise,,,,think I'll take it easy today.

I wish I could sit on your porch with you and enjoy the scenery. Sounds really peaceful. Lucky you and do take it easy. You deserve it too.
