It's Dana here... I've been having a weird flare up on and off. A couple days ago I had a tuna wrap couldn't finish it ( like the rest of my food). I was trying to be a normal active college student running to class and walking around the college campus. Remind you in NY it was 90 degrees. But before i even went outside I got a flare up ( the stomach bubbles and the big D). Then the heat was terrible. Point is.... this flare up has been different. My skin burns and I get hot and dizzy. And sometimes like my vision gets misty ( its not intense) BUT its just a little misty. I've been taking three immodium a day just to function normally. The nausea has been high in my tummy like an inch above the belly button ( it's usually a lot lower). I've been throwing up bile and mucus. My mom says its because the nasal drip from allergy season. BUt why does she hack it up and I throw it up? After everything I eat I break out into a sweat.. ***?!Like a clammy dizzy/ headache sweat. I get really hot, but normally with my flare ups I get cold. Fever was 102 when it started now its 100.8 last time i checked today. Today i didn't go to the bathroom often BUT.... its still water coming out. =(...
And for the women out there...does anyone get worse symptoms when their period is about to come or when it's late?
All my joint and terrible pains started in march when it was like a yr since i been off birth control. A cyst rupture and my time of the month my corhn's gets worse and weirder.. THere is always something new. This month i've be cravin cheese like pizza and nachos.. but I know I can't have too much.. u think its more of a gallbladder issue?
I'm sorry for making this post REALLLLLLY long!!!
But i have one more question /topic..... are there college students out there who are on disability for crohn's ? is there anyone on disablity... I'm just worried cuz when I get nervous for exams my bowel movement increase..And everyone knows you just can't get up in the middle of a hr and 15 minute class to be in the bathroom for a half hour. Plus, attendence issues with flare ups... Plus the erythema nodosum!!... can someone explain to me how it works? And if it's even considered a disability or just an agreement between student and teacher?
