How often do you get your ANA checked? I've got horrendous joint pain, and was wondering whether it's worth getting
my blood work done...

I don´t have lupus but my doc suspects it.
I have only had my ANA checked twice and it came out the same.

My joints are killing my too :(

Initially, when my rheumy suspected lupus, my symptoms were so severe he went straight to testing the anti-dsDNA titer. It was really elevated. That is what was tested every time for over a year. Then they did an ANA and antibody titer for a yearly baseline. My rheumy does my ANA periodically but not as often as the antibody titers.
