I'm debating on checking myself into the hospital. I have a dr's appointment next week so I think I'll wait till then and see what the doc has to say. I did the liquid diet for 4 days, felt great for one day. Then my 11 month old decided to get sick. She had fevers, rash, and was extremely fussy. Cried all day every day for 5 days (she had roseola while cutting 4 teeth). It put soo much stress on me. I'm back to where I was before the liquid diet, 15 bloody bm's a day, fever of 101, extremely exhausted, constant abdominal pain (it's not awful, just sore like I've been excercising) and nauseau/vomitting at least once a day. I'm still eating mostly a liquid diet with solids like rice and mashed potatoes.

I hate this. I want to be 'normal' and no longer in pain.

I am so sorry you are feeling so rotten. I think you are smart on staying on the liquid diet for awhile longer. But if things don't start improving soon, do try to at least call the doc and discuss it. Hugs!

That sounds miserable, I'm sorry. I don't have anything useful to say, but I hope your flare dies down soon :/

Awww, sorry you're feeling so terrible. It stinks to start improving, just to go back to feeling rotten. I hope things get better. Is your daughter at least feeling better? Maybe your stress level will go back down and you'll start improving again...I hope.

((((BIG HUGS)))) to you!

It's tough being a mom with the awful disease. I'm so sorry you're suffering.
I find chamomile tea helps.
I've also been suffering more lately (with partial obstructions) so I went back on prednisone a couple of weeks ago.
Are you on any meds?
