Just thought I'd check in and make sure everyone here knows about Dragonpack (DP).

DP is a separate board (not Healingwell) that is for parents of IBDers. It's a great group - supportive and friendly.

As with all support groups, you are likely to find DP has a number of kids who are pretty sick - sicker than may be typical of most kids who get IBD. Parents who find DP are often feeling very alone and scared. They come seeking answers, 2nd opinion suggestions, practical advice on handling school issues and treatment problems along with emotional support from others who have walked in their shoes.

We have a number of parents of young adults right now whose kids are doing great after years of struggle.

Some members are using exclusive or partial enteral nutrition. Others are using non-traditional approaches like SCD and herbs. Most are also or exclusively using traditional treatments like AZA and/or Remicade.

DP welcomes all parents of IBDers - no matter the age of the "child". If you are seeking support and help, come check DP out.
