Home made spaghetti sauce and pasta

Does anyone every have any stomach problems with tomato home made spaghetti sauce on pasta?

Female 60 yrs -Crohn's Disease - dx Feb. 2010
Meds= Sept 26 2010 - Humira pen 40mg every two weeks/ Imuran 100mg every day/ Prednisone 15 mg at present/ Probiotic daily/ Multi V daily/ Vit E/ + Vit D.
Struggling daily with what to eat so not to have so much pain/nausea/diarrhea and something that will help me put some weight on. On dx in Feb 2010 I weighted 115, now 94 lbs.

For some reason, I actually do better with my home made spaghetti sauce than I do with store bought. I add a lot of vinegar in mine and you would think that would bother you but I do alright. The other thing is that both my stewed tomatos and fresh tomatos always come right out of my back yard garden along with most of the other ingredients so there are no other foreign chemicals or pesticides in them. I am not Italian but I take my sauce making pretty serious and will make sure there is no preservatives. Now if I can learn how to make my own pasta.....(Yes, it is normal for guys to like to cook)

It doesn't matter if it is home made or out of the bottle. Red sauce does me in-:) I had a resection four weeks ago and am hoping and praying that one day I can get Italian food again. Can't eat pizza either or lasagna-:)
d 1/09 with colitis sigmoid colon with some diverticular disease as well

Thank you for your replies.  I made home made spaghetti sauce on pasta for my husband last evening, I did not have any.  But it looked so good, so I just tried a very little bit for my supper tonight.  A very little bit.  It was good, so I  truly hope I do not have a bad reaction to it.  I guess everyones system is affected differently.  I will let you know how I make out.
