I don't want to alarm you but you MUST see your gynecologist and/or urologist right away !
Anything leaking from the intestines can carry e-coli and other highly toxic bacteria into the urinary tract.
I have had an anal fistula for years with drainage, lived with it until it closed down.
Then I had two bowel fistulas for about
two years, lots of pain, but still lived with them.
The point, so far, is that some fistulas can wait, but any fistulas burrowing into other organs is a serious matter. So then the nastiest of fistulas appeared:
Then I had a fistula that started burrowing into my bladder and the urologist told me that this was an extremely serious condition that can propagate septicimia into the blood and I will be in critical care in the hospital. Then it took 3 months to finally have the surgery to remove that part of the bowel. So its not like it is going to happen to you tomorrow.
I realize that you have not mentioned the bladder and it is occurring in a different area of the anatomy. But still, anytime you have these organ cross-overs with intestinal juices, it is a cause for a major investigation and resolution.
You still have time, please promise me that you will not let this lapse !
