I had 6 strips of bacon, 1 egg and toast, an apple and a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

For lunch I just finished a piece of steak and some fried rice with veggies and a liter of chocolate milk.

For supper I plan to have spaghetti and meat sauce and a smoothie and a bag of chips : )

I have been eating decent for 3 weeks now on prednisone. I need to gain 20lbs back but doubt that will happen. Im sure some of you are cringing at my diet lol :)

Your diet looks great and since I haven't eaten yet for 2 days, you have made me extra hungry and I am now sitting waiting for my BLT and coffee. Icecream later :)

This morning I had a saugsage biscuit for breakfast about 6 am. Then at 11:00 I ate a grilled chicken sandwich. And more than likely that will be it for the day. I am not a big eater. I am in remission but becuz of changes from my resections, I now follow a modified low residue diet all the time. Your meals sounded yummy, but that bacon would have torn me up. I love it but it don't love me:(

And you are killing me with the chocolate milk!!!! I am now lactose intolerant and just want one glass, but its just not worth it. And no the lactose free milk doesn't like me either. Hmmmppphhh!!!

That sounds very yummy!

I didn't have anything for breakfast other than a couple swallows of powerade. Mornings aren't the best for me so I find it's better if I don't eat. For lunch it was pizza at my husbands office, that didn't agree with me at all and was out within 10 minutes. Came home from errands and had another couple swallows of powerade. I don't know what's for dinner yet, I haven't decided although soup has been sounding pretty yummy. As you can tell, I don't eat much...

LUNCH: tried a small portion of peanuts and seeds, coffee with cream/honey
DINNER: filet mignon with homemade steak sauce, rice w/GF soya sauce. (didn't eat the bacon around the steak, tho)

I had terrible "d" until this aft. Maybe the coffee or egg...?

Sounds good everyone : ) I always like to hear what people are eating! hehe. Mind you I appreciate some people of course dont eat a lot and or dont find such a topic of interest because of complications and diet. I am typically one of those folks who dont eat much at all. But I try to eat up while im on the prednsione! Nanners I am really lucky but I have never had any problems with milk. I have people tell me I shouldnt drink it even if I dont notice problems but meh....The only stuff that really I find I can 100% say messes me up often even when no flare is stuff like cheap microwave dinners, and fast food and alcohol. That stuff I try and stay away from. If im in a flare I dont dare touch that stuff especially cause well when im in a bad flare it dont matter what I eat, fish, gluten free this or that. if im flaring just about anything that goes down messes me up.. Roni - Coffee can make things move sometime thats for sure!

Everyone's responses are making me hungry.

I had a donute for breakfast this morning. (It was free donut day, I couldn't pass it up ;D)
Afterwards I was feeling pretty blah, so for lunch I had a bunch or grapes and a Powerade.

For dinner I just had some toast and bacon. And the rest of my Powerade.

Oh my, it seems that I'm not able to eat nowhere near enough. A couple of plain cookies and 2 slices
of toast, with maybe something on it, that's my whole day. But right now, I'm still partially obstructed,
so I'm happy with my diet, it's just a small step up from clear fluids. Hopefully I'll eat a little more soon,
but have been unable to eat any large amounts in a long time, but I like to pick all day when I feel better.

I'm quite envious of you all :)

Randy, I'm not sure the 1.6 liters of TPN counts as EATING? But it is calories in so......... I do give you credit for the rest of it, I can't eat most of that.

I sure wish I could eat the diet so many of you can eat. Bacon, grapes, salad would send me to the ER. For breakfast I have either a bowl of Rice Krispies or a poached egg on toast or scrambled eggs topped with melted cheese. For lunch I had chicken noodle soup and some cottage cheese. For dnner, I had baked scallops, rice pilaf, and well cooked asparagus tips. A bowl of vanilla ice cream was my treat for the day.

I am really jealous of some of you. Specially those who eat so much bacon. I am like the dog in the commercial when someone says "bacon, bacon, bacon". I love bacon but it doesnt like me. Hugs!

Here's an odd question:
I saw many people's responses saying they wish they could eat bacon. I have never had a problem with bacon, and had never heard of it causing problems.

What is it about bacon that some people can't eat it?

Love food, love eating. Just have to be careful how much I eat. What I eat doesn't seem to matter nearly as much.

Today:

(Never have breakfast)

Lunch - cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese

Snack - couple of lemon curd biscuits; a Nakd chocolate and orange bar (a healthy vegan bar with no sugar, dairy, etc. but astoundingly they manage to taste rather good, esp. the raspberry ones)

Dinner - white rice, spare ribs in a chinese-y sauce; green bean, tomato and pine nut salad. Yeah, the tomato skins and nuts will prove indigestible as usual, but I refuse to give up on salad entirely

Snack - A Mars chocolate egg

KA still grape juice, black coffee, tea, and water to drink (not all at the same time, obvs)
