I'm in a visit to UK for a week. Today, all of a sudden my back started hurting. Maybe I've moved incorrectly but I don't remember I lifted up anything heavy. Any suggestions of an OTC cream that I can get to soothe pain and make movements pain-free until I get back home?

Welcome to the UK ;p

Your best bet is to go into a pharmacist (there's usually several of them in any town centre, or just go to Boots) and ask the pharmacist's recommendation. There's certainly gels and stuff for sprained muscles, but I wouldn't know what to recommend.

2nd surgery 10/7/15 - ileorectal anastomosis. Stoma reversed and ileum connected to the rectum.
Current status: Chronic flare. Do I have any other kind?
Current meds: 50mg 6MP; Entyvio (started 3/11/16)

NCOT, thank you so much.
I'll do that in rhe early morning and see what they recommend. I think that these gels are local so I don't think there is anything to worry about with regard to the irritation of Crohn's.

Thank you both NCOT and Straydog.

@ NCOT. I got Voltarol.

@ Straydog. I do agree w you. I'm back home and things are getting better now. It could also be the sitting for hours whether during the flight or in the coach to travel to the South which might have caused this back pain.
