Just need some advice! Last week I was hospitalized in the ICU for a GI bleed from my Crohn's disease. I required a lot of fluid to keep my BP up and a blood transfusion. The bleeding stopped on its own, and I'm scheduled to start Entyvio. I was discharged Sunday and told my employer I could come back for the weekend, starting Saturday. Today I just feel really run down and tired. I'm not sure I can do it. Do you guys think this is too soon?

If your finance allows, I would rest a little longer before going back to work. Most importantly, what did your doctor say?

You were just in the ICU, I think you deserve a few weeks rest. I would get a doctor note and stay home until I felt physically capable, if possible. I have made the mistake of going back to work too early, taking on tasks, and then having to go out again, which makes it harder for my employer to fund coverage.
