Hello friends!
I have a draining seton in site for a transphicteric fistula since the 1st of August.
I believe that the abscess (+small secondary tract) that was operated at the same time with the placement of the seton is slowly closing towards the seton hole.
But it is taking time (I am now on my 7th week with it) and it is still draining and draining.....
What's your experience with healing the abscess (secondary tract) next to the seton? Does it ever heal?
If yes, how long did it take to heal?
Did the draining decrease then?
THANK you VERY MUCH in advance if your reply - I need your support and guidance!!!
This is a difficult challenge for me and ANY input is greatly appreciated. I bet you understand! Thank God for this forum.
