this is interesting, but crohn's has been around a long time, so newly mutated forms of e coli can not be the only answer. It might explain why prevalence is on the increase and also why there appears to be so many different ways that crohn's manifests itself. Maybe it is more than one disease. Certainly there are more than one variant.
