Has anyone had Remicade related vision trouble and if so what is the nature of your vision trouble? For the past couple of months I've been getting a lot of floaters in my right eye and getting cloudy (like looking through frosted glass) vision in my right eye. I have a history of dry eyes so I wrote it off as that at first. Since the artificial tears haven't been helping I went to the opthamologist today and he can't find anything wrong with my eye. He suggested that maybe the Remicade is causing my problems. He is going to do a vision field test next week but doesn't think it will show anything. He dililated my eyes this morning and my right eye is still dililated and painful which when I called him this afternoon he attibuted to me having very light eyes and the right eye being sensitive but should come back in if not better by tomorrow morning.

You need to let your doctor konw about this immediately. There can be serious side affects associated with vision and Remicade. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

I actually have a call into Centecor (sp) maker of Remicade to find out the exact nature of the vision related problems that patients have experienced.

Well Centecor said that some patients have gotten Optic Neuritis from the Remicade. I looked it up and I do have some of the symptons. I also found out that it isn't just Remicade that can cause Optic Neurities but any of the anti-TNF agents so I'm really praying that isn't what I have because to go off Remicade is one thing to not be able to Humira either is another. I do not want a return to the constant throwing up and d that I had before starting Remicade. I'll know more once the eye doc performs the visual field test next week.

Anything new on this? I just had similar problem happen last night. I've only had 3 treatments of Remicade and the more problems I'm having it makes me want to stop it. This really scared me and my family. I had never experienced my right eye only dilate so big and remain fixed for 30 min. It's halfway back to normal but still have pain and vision problems.
