When do you have problems?  I'm noticing a pattern.  I start cramping almost always after lunch and more frequently after dinner.  I hardly ever cramp after breakfast.  I've noticed some people have trouble during the night and in the morning.  Have you noticed patterns?

Yes, definitely morning for me. If I could figure out why and how to avoid it I would. Morning is about the only time I don't feel well and it is hard to pull yourself together and get out of the house by 7:30 am. And it all happens before I eat any breakfast or drink any coffee. I am fine when I take a shower but about 20 minutes later it starts. It's like my insides wake up or something. MB

Most of my pain issues seem to get worse in the evening - just before or after dinner. However the D is usually worse in the am. Go figure!

most of my pains were like at 3-5 am. or just after i got to work at 6am. then i would have to leave to go to the dr and get pain meds. thankfuly i rarely have pain anymore since my last surgery to fix my fistula. now its just the fevers, that was a regular pattern of every 6-8 weeks, not so regular lately. went 4 months without one then 2 in 2 weeks...

I am the same as you. Sort of! When I first get up (at 3:30 am) I am really nauseous. I first take my Zofran 8 mg and about 30 min later take the rest of my morning meds. It takes till about 5:30 am then I start feeling better and can eat a little. I am fine for awhile and then right after lunch the crampies and yuck feeling returns and stays there until my evening meds kick in. And cycle goes on the next day.

Mine flares up at night. I know I am in trouble when I wake up in the middle of the night and throw up.

I wake up ~2 am with back/abdominal pain. It fizzles out in 1-2 hours. Mornings can be bad too.

Mornings are bad for bathroom issues, anything up to 10 times in a couple of hours. Evenings are bad for pain & gas issues.
The bit in the middle, not too bad...

Mornings are the worst for the D. I spend most of my morning running in and out of there while I try to get ready for work. The pain is almost always in the middle of the night, 2/3 am (how weird is this) I'll wake up with severe pain and vomiting and need to go into the hospital for pain meds and IV. Strange how we all seem to have similar patterns????

Mornings had always been the worst for me- 2-3 BMs before I even ate breakfast and then 3-4 more after I ate. After I did the induction phase of the Remicade, everything got much better. Unfortunately, I developed Lupus-like syndrome and just swirched over to Humira. I've done the 2 sets of loading doses and have noticed that in the past 2-3 weeks, mid afternoon, about an hour or two after lunch, I get the cramps and 2-3 BMs, along with lots of GAS- goes over really well in the large bathroms in my office :)

Oh yes, I certainly see patterns. Mornings, especially if I get up earlier then usual, are bad for me. Late at night seems to be my latest pattern for the last few attacks. Sometimes waking me up at 1 am!

If I'm doing poorly, after meals are always bad too.

Early mornings are always my worst. If I get to sleep in it is not so bad. I have naseua and frequent urgent bathroom trips in the morning. During the day I am usually ok. After dinner Im usually bloated and gassy. Like others said, Im no Im in for trouble when I wake up in the middle of the night throwing up or w/ D. Unfortunatly most of my classes are early but my profs are very good about not caring how many times I leave to use the bathroom and I just chew gum or sip ginger ale for the naseua.
