THRUSH! How do i get rid of this?

I took my last dose of pred yesterday, today I have thrush.
 
 
Do I need to make a dr appointment?

I would call the doctor.  When I had thrush, I just called my GI and told him.  He called in a prescription for me, and I just picked it up.

i have a thread going called "how to beat thrush" theres a lot of good info there. usually to get rid of it my doc gives me a script for diflucan (fluconazole) it knocks it right out.

Im 26 years old, and am currently only taking remicade, protonix and evil prednisone for my CD. am on quite the cocktail for my BP however: Geodon, Lamictal, Celexa, Buspar and Klonopin.
Im also on lipitor for high cholesterol caused by a prior BD med. and i take some meds prn for my allergies, asthma, and migrianes.

My daughter got rid of the thrush (from Flagyl mixed with Entocort) by taking nystatin, orally, 4x day for two weeks. Avoided all sources of sugar for a few days (including fruit and fruit juices), because yeast loves sugar! And no bread made with yeast, either.
