Hi all.  It has been a while since I posted.  On top of everything else, I got slammed with Mononucleosis / EBV (Epstein Barr Virus), so have been debilitated with that.  Also have had thryoiditis and endocrinologist is throwing in the towel after 14 months and recommending removal.  All of this, following my diagnosis of Crohn's last December.  Geesh!  I say enough is enough!
Anyway, I am wondering about adding a probiotic to my daily regimen.  Do you regard that as a safe thing to do with bowel problems?  I cannot get adequate answers from my doctors, so decided to ask the pros (that being you all).
Thanks in advance!

Not only safe but very necessary, here's a link for you to read about research regarding probiotics and IBD....

Just scroll to the top of the page when it loads in to read from the beginning.
