So has anyone not had luck with the diet in the book breaking the vicious cycle" but had luck with the makers diet?  I tried the "vicious cycle" for two months but quit because I was getting too skinny, grumpy and it wasn't helping my crohn's symtoms at all.

i never tried the vicious cycle, but makers did wonders for me. it is tough so you do need to suck it up and stick with it at first since it has you go through a detox. it is worth it to start at phase 1. dont be a wimp like i was and start at phase 3. granted i did notice improvements in like 3 days of starting on phase 3, but it wasnt until i went back and did properly, starting at phase 1, that i really got better and it made a believer out of me.
