Hey Gang,

I got some bad news from Curley, her Dad was admitted to the hospital Monday, he had obstructed & blocked. They tried an NG tube but he was no better in 24 hrs. They did surgery yesterday, took out 22 inches of the small bowel. He is doing fair right now. I will keep you posted on him.

Her sister, Amy that has cancer you know, underwent surgery, in fact they thought she was in remission. Well, as it turned out her sister is not in remission, the cancer is back and she will be having both breasts removed.

Curley recently had bilateral CT surgery and her hands are doing better. However, she has a bad gallbladder and is in the process of getting surgery scheduled to have it taken out. She has been very ill herself, they are not sure which is gallbladder related and what is cd related. Her dr has mentioned TPN feeding, she is unableto keep anything on her stomach and she has lost a great deal of weight. She is in pretty sad shape herself.

Tomorrow is Curley's birthday, so maybe some birthday wishes can be sent her way. If you want to send a free e-card I believe she has an email address listed just for this forum. She needs alot of cheering up at this point.

Last of all, please put this family in your prayers, they could really use it. Hope everyone is doing as well as they can. Expect to see alot of flaring spring & fall is our worst times for flares. Thanks everyone......Susie
