Has anyone had this?  I have pain in my tailbone.  It use to be only when I went to the bathroom.  Now if I get up weird or up to an hour after bathroom.  If I press on top to the right or left of tailbone is very painful.  I am also constipated and cannot help process by pushing because of pain.  Also what do they do to fix the situation if it is a Anorectal Abcess?

You need to see a doctor if you suspect that it's an abcess. I had one right above the butt hole in that tail bone area. It was VERY painful and it slowly got worse until I couldn't walk anymore of how bad the pain was. I did not listen and did not go see a doctor and left on a one week cruise. They had to make an incision through my skin and drain it. You want to catch it as early as possible. Hope you feel better soon!

I have a call into the doctor already. I should be in soon so I am hoping it will not get that bad. My theory on the DD is to nip stuff in the butt (haha- considering)before it nips back! Yipes, what a horrible ordeal! Thanks for your story. For everyone out there, if you suspect something isn't right jump on it right away, don't wait for it to get worse.

I have an appointment for a Cat Scan of my pelvic region and abdomin for tomorrow. The girl taking my appointment says I have to drink this stuff, can't remember the name but she says she has heard it tastes like a bad pina colada. Sounds interesting. I hate gaging that stuff, bleh.

Rubixqueen,  I'm having the same issue.  I went and had a CT scan last week.  They couldn't find anything.  I'm having a MRI tomorrow morning.  I think I'm more worried they are not going to find anything and I'll be back to not knowing why I hurt so bad.  I've been running low grade fevers in the afternoon and have lost all energy.  Those two things are the reasons I'm thinking something is going on.  My doctor doesn't seem to be too concerned though.  It wasn't until I said something isn't right that he ordered the MRI.

Oh by the way, the stuff doesn't taste too bad.  I did take off work and I'm glad I did.  It has a mild laxative in it.  Crohnie's don't usually need laxatives.  I had an accident on the walk back to the car.

I just got my results back and they told me I need to see the gyno because it might be calcification of ovaries??  They are not sure.  I was hoping this would be a quick fix but looks like I might be getting the run around.  Meanwhile it is getting more and more painful.  I am sorry that you are having the same problem.  I guess it might be a radiating pain from somewhere else.  I am frusturated.
