So i have these sores that I thought were just chapped spots on either side of my lips, right at the crux of my mouth that wont go away. They been there a little over two weeks now and they'll heal a little and then come back over and over.. I don't know that it's Crohn's related, just irritating. Does any one know of what I can slather on it to make it go away? I've used up tons of chap stick and thats not working.

Try Carmex. I find that Chapstick is very drying.

I got those last year but it turned out to be from bone-marrow suppression because of 6-mp.

I started to get them again last month, but I was off 6-mp and my doctor told me to take a multi-vitamin with vit-b and zinc. Cleared up right away.

First time they were herpes virus. Oozie and weepy. This time they were just dry and cracking. Try the multi-vitamin.

Cracks in the corners of your mouth can suggest your Vit b 12 is low. I would ask to have it checked.
