So I don't have any stomach pains but every time I eat I have to run to the bathroom within an hour.  It's a lot of mucous and semi-soft stool.  I am bleeding a little but that might just be from the fissures because it's burning a bit when I go.  I don't feel like when I go I am completely done going.  It's a little here and a little there.  It's so frustrating.  It doesn't feel like a flare but the going to the bathroom so much does. It's weird.  I have gained 3 pounds from my last flare which was 3 weeks ago...is what I am feeling the results of that flare?  Should I try sticking to the ensure thing for a while to let my insides calm down?

That's happened to me before, I always thought it was a flare, just not a very painful one.  Running to the b-room every time I eat (sometimes after the first bite of food) is usually how I know somethings coming on and for me it usually gets worse from there.  But that's just me.

Give your doctor a ring, you should tell him about it and see what he'd like you to do about it.

Sounds like a flare to me, but I don't know for sure. I've always read when you see mucus when you whipe its because of inflammation. Call your GI and get some bloodwork to find out for sure. GOOD LUCK!

When you have the feeling of incomplete evacuation it's generally an indication that there could be some proc*** going on (inflammation of the rectom), it's a symptom of IBS too (since with IBS there is NO inflammation but IBSers can experiance incomplete evacuation as well).

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
